K. N. Madhusoodanan (Kalanjoor Madhu) ventured into civil construction in 1983 with a small culvert work in Kalanjoor and through these years he has founded the Mavanal group. The main activity of this group is civil construction in the proprietary concern K. N. Madhusoodanan Engineers and Contractors and has done a lot of bridges, aqueduct, roads, etc. in the past years.
